The New Brunswick Goat Breeders Association was founded in 1967 by a group headed by the late Mrs. Hilda Sketchley. Our secretary treasurer, Arnold Steeves joined in 1980 when the New Brunswick Goat Breeders Association had two Branches of the New Brunswick Goat Breeders Association. Central Valley and South Eastern the two groups with 3 executive teams. Members of the two groups met twice a year as the main association where all members from both groups assembled. Today the association is formed by one main group which meets throughout the year. The New Brunswick Goat Breeders Association promotes all breeds & types of goats in New Brunswick. You do not need to have registered stock to join the New Brunswick Goat Breeders Association. If you are interested in goats please take a moment to visit our member page for more information on breeders, or contact our president or vice-president for help selecting a breed for you. We always welcome new members and new breeders. Please feel free to contact our president James Bennett, or vice-president Alex Cripps if you have any questions about the NBGBA or any of our programs . Please enjoy your visit on our website!
